Zurich North America is seeking an experienced E&S Excess Casualty Underwriter to join our Casualty team on a hybrid basis and in one of our key locations (Chicago, New York, Parsippany, or Atlanta). You will build broker and customer relationships, assess risk, price appropriately, and grow a profitable book of business.

The role can be filled at Underwriter or Underwriting Specialist level, with a focus on collaboration across claims, finance, risk engineering and actuary, and with

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 1+ years in Insurance/Market Facing or 2+ years in Claims/Underwriting Support.
• Knowledge of insurance industry, laws, and guidelines.
• Experience with underwriting philosophy and rating rules.
• Ability to coach and develop junior staff likely in a team setting.
