Job summary

Align Communications is seeking a reliable Desktop Analyst to provide frontline end-user support across managed services clients. The role is hybrid with onsite NYC three days/week and some trips to Newark or Mountainside, NJ.

You will handle common tech issues, assist VIP users, and follow established procedures in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in desktop support, experience with Microsoft 365/Intune/Azure AD/AD, VPN, and basic networking.

Qualifications

1+ year of desktop or end-user support experience.
Experience with Hybrid/Cloud environments (on-prem and cloud).
Proficient with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Intune, Entra ID, AD.
Knowledge of VPN and basic networking concepts.
Familiarity with Egnyte or similar file sharing solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline chat-based technical support for end users.
Deliver excellent customer service and issue resolution.
Assist with password resets and basic connectivity issues.
Support Office 365 applications and IP phone/workstation issues.
Install, upgrade, remove desktop applications.
Manage hardware inventory and user equipment.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members.
Follow documented troubleshooting steps for consistency.
Ensure desktops and printers stay operable and request hardware fixes as needed.
