Job summary

Align is seeking a reliable Desktop Analyst to provide frontline end-user support across managed services clients in a hybrid NYC environment. The role focuses on resolving technical issues, assisting with password resets, O365 administration, and workstation tasks while maintaining strong customer service.

Hybrid role: onsite at NYC office three days/week with occasional client-site visits in Newark or Mountainside, NJ; on-call rotation including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of desktop support or end-user support experience.
• Experience with Hybrid/Cloud environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Intune, Entra ID, AD, VPN, and basic networking.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline chat-based technical support for end users across managed services clients.
• Deliver excellent customer service, follow-through and resolution, including support for executive and VIP users.
• Assist users with common technical issues including password resets, connectivity, and Office 365 issues.
• Perform basic workstation tasks including installing/upgrading/removing desktop applications.
• Support inventory tracking for hardware, peripherals, and user equipment.
• Escalate issues to senior team members when necessary.
• Follow documented troubleshooting steps and internal procedures.
