Job summary

Segra seeks a Managed Services Engineer II, Data Services to design, deploy, and maintain our data-services platform. The role involves translating customer requirements into technical specs for layer 2/3 solutions, and building automation for provisioning and config management.

You will work with internal teams and customers across enterprise, government, and carrier segments, with a rotating on-call schedule in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in systems analysis or network design in IT/telecom.
• Experience designing configuration specs for data managed-services.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, deploy and maintain data services platform.
• Develop and test automation scripts for provisioning and config management.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate to technical specs.
• Diagnose service-affecting conditions and recommend design changes.

VPLS/VPRN knowledge

DIA/IES services understanding

BGP and routing protocols
