Job summary

Segra is seeking a Managed Services Engineer II, Data Services to architect, deploy, and maintain our data-services platform. You will translate customer requirements into precise technical specs for layer2/3 services and design IP schemes for multi-site environments.

You will develop automation scripts for provisioning, test them, and document solutions while collaborating with customers and engineers across sectors. A first-shift with on-call rotates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and progressive technical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in systems analysis, network design, or software/script development in telecom or IT environments.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting configuration specifications for data managed-services solutions.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with customers and vendors.
• Thorough documentation of issues and solutions in ticketing/configuration-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, deploy, and maintain Segra’s data-services platform.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specs for layer2/layer3 solutions.
• Develop and test automation scripts for device provisioning and configuration management.
• Design IP addressing schemes across complex multi-site environments.
• Independently evaluate network topologies, diagnose service issues, and recommend design modifications.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external customers across enterprise, government, and carrier segments.
