Job summary

The Eliassen Group is seeking a Tier III Network Operations Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex WAN, LAN, routing, switching, and wireless issues in a hybrid on-site role in Charlotte, NC.

You will work with small Agile teams, focus on break-fix and operational reliability, and contribute to network improvement initiatives. Requires strong TCP/IP, Cisco routing/switching, VLANs, MPLS, SD-WAN, and familiarity with automation and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with two years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
CCNA/CCNP/Network+ certifications desired.
Proficient in Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Experience with VLANs, MPLS, SD-WAN, ACI, ISE.

Responsibilities

Support internal data networks and improve reliability.
Troubleshoot LAN, WAN and wireless performance issues.
Analyze appliances like firewalls and WAN accelerators.
Provide timely resolution to trouble tickets.
Participate in on-call rotation and cross-tier collaboration.
