Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a civil engineering intern to support site design and land development projects within the Community Development group. The 12-week paid summer internship offers hands-on experience working with senior engineers on real client projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil Engineering, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and are proficient with MS Office and CAD tools. The role is hybrid, with in-office collaboration and remote work part of the week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred
• Ability to perform field work
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
