Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill invites applications for a civil engineering intern to assist design teams on site design projects. The 12-week paid summer program offers hands-on work with our Community Development group in a collaborative setting.

The role is hybrid, with in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility, and runs Monday through Friday. The successful candidate is pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, maintains at least a 3.0 GPA, and has CAD software exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
