Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a civil engineering intern for a 12-week paid summer program. The role supports design teams on site development projects and collaborates with experienced engineers in a hybrid work setting.

The internship runs Monday through Friday, offering in-depth exposure to real client projects, fieldwork opportunities, and mentorship from the Community Development group. Applicants should be pursuing Civil Engineering and meet the GPA requirement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
