Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill seeks a Civil Engineering intern to support site design and drainage work within the Community Development group. The 12-week paid summer program offers real client projects and collaboration with technical experts on a hybrid schedule combining in-office and remote work.

The role requires pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher, MS Office proficiency, and CAD experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred
• Ability to perform field work
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
