Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a civil engineering intern for the Community Development group. The 12-week paid summer internship offers hands-on experience on site design projects, working with a diverse team in a supportive environment.

The position is full-time Monday through Friday with hybrid in-office and remote work options. You will assist with basic site designs, sustainable site principles, and permit applications, gaining exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools as you contribute

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.
