Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Community Development group in Providence, RI. The 12-week paid summer program offers hands-on site design tasks and collaboration with a diverse technical team.

The role is full-time during summer, with a hybrid work arrangement combining in-office collaboration and remote work. A strong GPA, CAD experience, and MS Office proficiency are desired.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher required.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.
