Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill in Hartford, VT, seeks a civil engineering intern to assist design teams on site development projects, with a 12-week paid summer program. The internship is full-time Monday through Friday, offering deep hands-on experience with our Community Development group.

You'll use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools while learning from senior engineers in a collaborative, supportive environment that values work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
