Qualifications

• The Child Support Specialist facilitates outcomes for children's financial well-being.
• Uses analytical reasoning to establish, modify, enforce and collect child support obligations.
• Interprets complex legal orders and manages cases for compliance with state and federal rules.

Responsibilities

• Keeps confidentiality in all case communications.
• Ensures case management complies with Colorado statutes and regulations.
• Provides customer service and case status updates to parents or legal representatives.
• Maintains caseloads with daily/weekly/monthly reports and dashboards.
• Collaborates with county/state/tribal/international agencies to initiate and maintain services.
• Researches and analyzes legal documents to determine appropriate actions for child support.
