Jefferson County is seeking an Eligibility Specialist Lead in the Community Assistance Division to determine eligibility for multiple programs and support staff with training and technical guidance. This role involves interpreting complex regulations and ensuring accurate determinations using CBMS, with collaboration across supervisors and team members.

The position offers hybrid work with 5/8s or 4/10s schedules, remote work as needed, and a wage range of $28.90–$30.34 per hour, plus benefits

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• One year of determining eligibility for Medicaid, Food Assistance, Colorado Works and/or Adult Financial programs.

Responsibilities

• Support supervisors in monitoring eligibility staff and determinations.
• Interpret program rules and policies for accurate eligibility determinations.
• Troubleshoot CBMS and resolve system-related issues.
• Assist staff with complex cases and questions to ensure compliance.
• Communicate changes in rules and procedures to the team.
