Job summary

Eastern Bank is seeking a Service Associate/Teller hybrid role in Weymouth, MA. The position combines customer service on the platform with teller transactions, supporting growth and satisfying customers across branch activities.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, processing loans, referrals, and maintaining compliance while building relationships with clients and meeting quarterly sales targets. A starting rate of $22.00 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred.
• Some banking experience is preferred (e.g., teller or otherwise) is a plus.
• The ability to communicate information clearly and exchange accurate information with customers.

Responsibilities

• Opens deposit accounts.
• Prepares and processes loan applications for mortgage, consumer, small business lending, etc.
• Closes loans for customers.
• Makes referrals to other bank lines and third-party partners.
• Proactively reaches out to high-value customers to retain and grow the portfolio.
• Ensures operational compliance and adherence to policy.
• Handles daily account maintenance and service issues as necessary.
• Aims to achieve quarterly sales.
