Job summary

Eastern Bank seeks a Service Associate to perform a hybrid role, combining customer service and teller duties at branch locations. You will open deposits, process loans, and support daily transactions while aiming to meet quarterly sales goals.

You will build relationships with customers, handle cash operations, and refer clients to other bank services. A high school diploma and banking exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in retail, financial services or hospitality preferred.
• Some banking experience (e.g., teller) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Simultaneously performs the duties of a traditional branch customer service representative and teller.
• Opens deposit accounts and processes loan applications.
• Handles deposits, checks, and monetary instruments in adherence to bank policies.
• Refer customers to other bank lines and third-party partners to grow the portfolio.
• Maintain compliance and strive toward quarterly sales goals.
