Job summary

Eastern Bank seeks Service Associates who perform both Customer Service Representative duties (sales on the platform) and Teller responsibilities, in branch locations where a hybrid role is authorized.

The starting rate is $22.00 per hour, with compensation and benefits described in the Total Rewards package. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma and have 1–2 years of sales experience; banking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred.
• Some banking experience is preferred (e.g., teller or otherwise) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of both a Customer Service Representative (sales on the platform) and Teller (transactions at the teller line).
• Open deposit accounts and prepare loan applications for lending units.
• Process loans, file reports, and handle daily account maintenance.
• Proactively reach out to high-value customers to retain and grow portfolios.
• Meet quarterly sales and service goals and comply with policies.
