Job summary

C.H. Robinson in Milwaukee is seeking an Associate Portfolio Executive to learn and grow within an accelerated training track, focusing on re-engaging dormant accounts and cold opportunities through relationship development.

You will work in a hybrid setup, four days in office and one day remote, to build a scalable portfolio with strong onboarding and development support. After training, you’ll advance to a Portfolio Executive role, leveraging robust tools to manage a large portfolio while

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months customer engagement experience.
Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
Bachelor's degree preferred; not required.

Responsibilities

Drive conversion of sales leads into active customers through relationship building.
Engage with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet needs and targets.
Respond to inquiries and manage conflicts diplomatically.
Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
Reconnect with dormant customers to stimulate demand.
Execute pricing strategies with negotiation and market knowledge.
Maintain urgency in addressing customers and portfolio growth.
Generate additional business within teammates' portfolios; exceed targets.
Stay updated on market changes to identify growth opportunities.
Manage operational tasks like quoting, load building, and order escalations.
