Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is hiring an Accounting Customer & Product Support Specialist III to assist the Finance/Accounts Receivable team with billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation inquiries.

The role emphasizes customer focus, data analysis across systems, and proficiency in PeopleSoft FSCM and Excel. The position is hybrid, with in-office attendance once weekly at multiple Jack Henry locations (Overland Park, KS; Monett, MO; Springfield, MO; Allen, TX).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience within a financial institution.
• Experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Intermediate experience utilizing Excel (pivot tables, formatting/filtering, formulas).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Support accounts receivable phone queue 1 day a week 8-5 CST.
• Core hours 9am-3pm CST; up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains collections management procedures.
• Builds relationships with accounting staff to ensure customer relationships.
• Ensures clear communication with each customer.
• Interacts with customers by answering calls and researching AR questions.
• Resolves past due balances and disputed balances with customers.
• Makes adjustments to accounts receivable records.
• Tracks issues and assists with billing issue resolution.
• Manages billing/dispute resolution timelines for customers.
• Investigates delinquent accounts, including escalated cases.
• Arranges payment terms for delinquent accounts.
• Mentors less experienced peers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
