Job summary

Jack Henry in Allen, TX is hiring an Accounting Customer & Product Support Specialist III to join the Finance/Accounts Receivable team. You’ll handle billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation inquiries, review unpaid invoices, investigate discrepancies, and respond promptly to customer requests using PeopleSoft FSCM and Excel.

The role is hybrid, requiring one in-office day per week for team meetings, with travel up to 10% and standard CST hours (9am–3pm).

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies regarding collections management.
• Builds and maintains relationships with accounting customer staff and management to ensure the long-term viability of customer relationships.
• Manages communication with each customer and researches questions pertaining to accounts receivable.
• Interacts with internal and external customers by answering calls and researching questions pertaining to accounts receivable.
• Resolves past due balances and disputed balances with customers.
• Makes adjustments to customers’ accounts receivable records.
• Tracks and manages the resolution of billing and dispute issues for customers.
• Investigates delinquent accounts, especially escalated accounts.
• May arrange terms of payment for delinquent accounts.
• Assists less experienced peers.
