Job summary

Jack Henry is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Customer & Product Support Specialist III to join our Finance/Accounts Receivable team. This role focuses on billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation inquiries, with a need for clear communication and strong data analysis across multiple systems.

Hybrid work requires in-office presence once weekly in designated offices. Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in financial services, excel proficiency, and experience with PeopleSoft FSCM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in a financial institution.
• Experience in Accounting/Finance and customer-facing roles.
• Intermediate Excel skills: pivot tables, formatting, formulas.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies regarding collections management.
• Helps build and maintain close working relationships with accounting customer staff and management to ensure long-term customer relationships related to billing.
• Ensures communication with each customer is carried out.
• Interacts with internal and external customers by answering calls and researching billing questions.
• Resolves past due balances and disputed balances with customers.
• Makes adjustments to customers’ accounts receivable records.
• Tracks and manages the resolution of billing and dispute issues for customers.
• Investigates and researches delinquent accounts, escalated where needed.
• May arrange terms of payment for delinquent accounts.
• Assists less experienced peers and may perform other duties as assigned.
