The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and a knack for identifying early payment discounts while maintaining precise records for month-end closes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting services experience.
• High School diploma required; degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required), with experience in Bill.com preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and payments promptly and accurately.
• Verify vendor tax IDs and resolve PO discrepancies.
• Identify early payment discounts and avoid penalties.
• Prepare weekly aging reports for client visibility.
• Maintain strong vendor relations and communication.
• Assist month-end close by reconciling AP records.
• Adapt to changing client needs and priorities.
