Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative (Hybrid) to enter a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and develop skills to become a sales representative.

In this role, you will manage customer relationships in your territory, prospect new business, plan weekly activities, demonstrate our products, and work toward achieving sales goals while reporting progress in our systems.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel within assigned geographic area and maintain required insurance coverage.
• BYOD policy compliance and use of personal electronic device as required by company policy.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively expand the customer base by contacting potential customers in the territory.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plan weekly activities to prioritize stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to show value and quality; emphasize American-made products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed quotas using company sales programs and training.
• Reporting: Maintain records of daily sales activities and report on cost-savings for customers.
