Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative in Washington for a two-year training program to develop sales skills, product knowledge, and the ability to become a sales representative.

This hybrid role offers a structured ramp with a first-year compensation range of $42,400–$47,400 plus a bonus plan, and benefits including medical, dental, life, disability, 401k and mileage/cell phone reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to cultivate relationships with customers in a designated territory.
• Proven ability to prospect and grow a book of business.
• Strong planning skills to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Demonstrated product knowledge and ability to convey value to customers.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas using company processes.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Efficiently plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate our products to potential customers to show the value and quality of our products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes learned in our training workshops.
