Job summary

Cox Automotive in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Absence Advocate to support the Absence & Accommodations team across the US and Canada. This role manages leave and accommodation cases, partners with TPAs, HR Partners, and stakeholders, and ensures timely, compliant case progression.

Responsibilities include handling 100 active cases, triage and resolution, coordinating FMLA, ADA, PWFA, workers' comp, and return-to-work processes, with accurate documentation and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline and 2 years of related experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, Workers' Compensation and related processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/case management systems such as Workday, AbsenceTracker, Service Station, UKG or Kronos.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support approximately 100 active leave and accommodation cases concurrently with timely progression.
• Triage, resolution, and outcome management for absence, accommodation, and workers' compensation cases.
• Coordinate ADA and PWFA accommodations with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams.
• Administer and track administrative leave statuses and ensure payroll alignment.
• Monitor FMLA lifecycle and coordinate with TPAs for gaps or delays.
• Maintain professional, clear communications with employees, leaders, and stakeholders.
