Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules for enhanced project planning in the United States. You will connect 3D elements with construction timelines using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or comparable tools and collaborate with an international delivery team to accelerate re‑industrialization efforts.

You’ll contribute to expanding 4D/5D workflows, vet data like Revit parameters, and help develop repeatable processes that improve schedule accuracy and decision making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or construction sequencing.
• Proficiency in 4D platforms like SYNCHRO or Fuzor; experience with Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they connect to model elements; Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements with construction schedules.
• Prepare and vet model data, including Revit parameters and element coding.
• Work with project teams to evaluate sequencing, identify conflicts, constraints and risks.
• Create clear simulations and visuals to support planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
• Coordinate with international delivery teams and ensure deliverable quality.
• Improve workflows and test tools to increase speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting model quantities, schedules, and cost data.
• Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
