Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unite models and schedules for smarter construction planning across multiple projects. You will develop 4D simulations using SYNCHRO Pro or similar tools, structuring data with Revit parameters and element coding, and collaborating across time zones to drive better sequencing and risk management.

You’ll work with an international delivery team, contribute to 5D workflows, and help build practical, repeatable processes while delivering valuable planning

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Proficiency in 4D platforms like SYNCHRO or Fuzor; experience with Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they relate to model elements; Primavera P6 experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to construction schedules.
• Prepare and vet model data (Revit parameters, element coding) for reliable linking.
• Collaborate with international teams to schedule, identify conflicts, and resolve issues.
• Create visualizations and presentations to communicate construction strategy.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
• Improve workflows and test tools to speed and improve accuracy.
• Assist in developing 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and cost data.
