Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules for improved construction planning. You will support 4D/5D workflows, collaborate with an international delivery team, and help scale tools and processes for better execution.

The role blends hands-on production with room to experiment and develop repeatable workflows, contributing to faster, more informed project decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Experience with SYNCHRO or Fuzor; Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they link to model elements; Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Organize model information using Revit parameters or coding.
• Ability to explain technical info, collaborate across time zones, manage multiple projects.
• Curiosity to learn new tools, troubleshoot problems, and follow through on detail work.
• Knowledge of AI tools and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements with schedules.
• Prepare model data, including Revit parameters, for reliable linking.
• Evaluate sequencing, identify schedule conflicts, risks and opportunities.
• Create clear simulations and presentations to support planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects.
• Coordinate with an international team and ensure deliverable quality.
• Improve workflows, troubleshoot data integration, and test automation.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and cost data.
• Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
