Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unite construction models and schedules, accelerating planning across U.S. projects. You will build 4D simulations that visualize sequencing, assess constraints, and support strategy in a growing 4D/5D practice.

Qualifications

2+ years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling
Proficiency in 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor; Revit/Navisworks experience
Understanding of construction schedules and how they link to models
Experience organizing model data via Revit parameters or coding
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across disciplines and time zones
Willingness to learn new tools; curious and proactive

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements with construction schedules
Prepare and structure model data to support schedule linking
Identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks and opportunities
Create clear simulations and visuals to support planning discussions
Keep models current as designs and priorities change
Coordinate with an international delivery team and ensure quality
Improve workflows and troubleshoot data integration issues
Assist in developing 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and cost data
Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively
