Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager within Grid Technologies Service to lead the safe and commercially effective delivery of service operations for HVDC, FACTS, and substation projects in the US.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, project execution, and lifecycle service to ensure integration of service requirements from opportunity through EPC and LTSA operations. You will build workforce capability, forecast resource needs, and strengthen customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in engineering, operations, or related field.
10+ years in service operations, project execution, or lifecycle support preferred.
Experience supporting Sales/Tendering with lifecycle service strategies or LTSA a plus.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across project, engineering, field service, customers, and partners.
Strong grasp of budgets, warranties, and performance management.
HVDC, FACTS, or grid-connection substations familiarity and safety-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead service activities across assigned projects to ensure safe, high-quality execution.
Partner with Sales and Tendering during pre-EPC phase to develop LTSA strategies.
Collaborate with PMOs to improve readiness for resource deployment and LTSA activities.
Embed service readiness throughout project execution and transition to warranty/LTSA operations.
Forecast future service resource needs and develop workforce and partner capacity.
Develop customer relationships and practical knowledge transfer with execution teams.
