Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. seeks a seasoned engineering leader to drive a team delivering advanced power quality solutions, including FACTS. You will oversee projects from planning through execution, coordinating across electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines while collaborating with global teams to meet contractual commitments.

The role emphasizes leadership in EPC turnkey environments, adherence to safety, and ongoing process improvements to strengthen grid technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent.
• 2-3 years in leadership roles (line management or project management).
• 3-5 years of experience managing large EPC turnkey projects.
• Experience with HV substations or FACTS projects is preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of Project Lead Engineers to deliver high-quality power quality solutions.
• Oversee project execution to ensure schedule, cost, safety, and quality compliance.
• Coordinate engineering activities across system design, electrical, mechanical, controls, and studies.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to support project delivery and objectives.
• Drive process improvements and support strategic programs; ensure compliance with procedures and contracts.
