Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking a Transmission Technical Services Technical Expert to lead technical and commercial activities for FACTS and HVDC systems across North America. You will assess asset conditions, drive upgrades, and deliver lifecycle solutions while collaborating with engineering, field service, and project teams.
You will develop and execute service plans, manage pipelines, and build customer relationships through site visits and technical reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in technical sales or related fields in power transmission.
- Experience with FACTS/HVDC systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic service sales for FACTS and HVDC customers.
- Develop customer account plans from base data and lifecycle info.
- Strengthen relationships through site visits and lifecycle planning.
- Guide commercial sales from opportunity to contract with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and project teams.
- Provide market intelligence and business cases to support investments.
