Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and service of power grid technologies in the Grid Integration Service group.

You will work with service, commissioning, and engineering teams on HMI, MicroSCADA, and PLC-based solutions to ensure reliability and safe operation of critical infrastructure. Qualifications

• Must have work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, automatic control, software engineering, or related field.
• Experience with computer-based control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning and service of control systems in field projects.
• Perform fault tracing, corrections, and verification of system performance.
• Serve as primary field and phone support for service teams and customers on control system matters.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to meet service requirements.
