Job summary

MTtalent is seeking a Business Development Manager in Sacramento, CA to drive HVACR sales and create new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

You will prospect, visit clients in person, and build long-term relationships with contractors and commercial customers, while identifying needs and recommending HVACR solutions. Expect a strong base plus uncapped commission and growth opportunities in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• HVAC/HVACR outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong hunter mentality with business development and prospecting.
• Willingness to cold call, drop-ins, and build relationships from the ground up.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to learn HVACR systems and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
• Prospect, cold call, and conduct in-person visits to contractors and commercial customers.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Identify customer needs and recommend HVACR products and solutions.
• Prepare quotes, pricing proposals, and follow up on opportunities.
• Manage and grow an active sales pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and project execution.
• Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Represent the company professionally within the market and at industry events.
