Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Concord, NC is looking for a Will Call/Counter Flex associate to rotate between material handling and counter sales, providing friendly service and accurate order fulfillment. The role includes stocking, processing orders, and ensuring product availability at the Will Call counter.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and 1+ year wholesale/retail experience; RF scanner/inventory systems experience is a plus, and English proficiency is

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED plus 1+ year wholesale/retail experience; forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at Will Call and front counter with accurate, prompt order fulfillment.
• Receive product, inspect freight, verify quantities, and use RF scanner for receiving.
• Replenish stock, stock shelves, and maintain showroom appearance.
• Process sales orders and payments in the ERP system; handle quotes and product information requests.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain safety and SOP compliance.
