Johnstone Supply in Webster, TX is hiring a part-time Will Call/Counter Flex associate to support counter sales and warehouse duties. The role blends customer service with stock handling, order fulfillment, and daily showroom upkeep.

You will operate RF scanners, assist customers, process orders, manage stock, and help with warranty claims. Training and safety compliance are emphasized, with opportunities to learn HVAC products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years in wholesale/retail is preferred.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the Will Call and front sales counter with accurate, prompt assistance.
• Receive product, inspect for damage, verify quantities, and use RF scanner for entries.
• Replenish stock, stock picking, and arrange shelves; rotate products as needed.
• Fill customer orders by picking and packing, ensuring barcode accuracy.
• Handle warranty claims and returns per SOP, and process sales orders and payments.
• Answer calls, provide quotes, take orders, research products, and give general information.
• Maintain showroom organization, clean shelves, and proper product displays.
• Ensure daily sales are balanced with payments per cash handling policy.
• Identify damaged inventory and flag for markdowns.
• Attend training to increase product knowledge and perform other duties as assigned.
