Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a Part-Time Will Call/Counter Flex associate in Houston to support both warehouse and counter sales tasks. You will handle receiving, stock replenishment, order picking, and customer service at the Will Call counter.

The role requires forklift experience, RF scanner use, and familiarity with inventory systems, along with teamwork and communication to ensure accurate orders and top-notch service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year wholesale/retail experience or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Familiarity with RF scanner and inventory management systems.
• English proficiency required; basic computer skills and ERP familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at Will Call and front counter with friendly, accurate service.
• Receive product, inspect freight, verify quantities, and use RF scanner.
• Replenish stock, restock picking stock, and rotate inventory as needed.
• Process customer orders, pick products, and pack shipments.
• Handle warranties/credits per SOPs and process payments.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, stock organization, and pricing accuracy.
• Support training and attend product/service seminars as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
