Johnstone Supply, LLC is hiring a COS Material Handler I in Summerville, SC. This role focuses on receiving, filling, and shipping products with attention to accuracy and efficiency. You will operate forklifts, RF scanners, and assist with inventory tasks in a fast-paced warehouse.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 year of related experience; forklift certification is required or must be obtained on the job. Strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year of related experience or training.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, OSHA safety regulations and procedures preferred.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack, RF scanner) safely to locate, store, and move products.
• Receive products by unloading trucks and verifying condition.
• Fill and pack orders, prepare shipments, and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Maintain accuracy and safety standards; assist with inventory cycle counts and related projects.
