Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
• Previous experience with OSHA and safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates power equipment (electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) to locate, put away, and move products.
• Receives product by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
• Ensures shipments received are accurate by inspecting freight, verifying quantities, and completing paperwork.
• Verifies bar code labels and stock numbers by scanning and labeling as needed.
• Fills orders by picking, packing, and labeling cartons and preparing for shipment.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness; follows SOPs and safety rules.
• May participate in inventory cycle counts and other related projects.
• Maintains professional communications with customers and coworkers.
