Job summary

Johnstone Supply is hiring a Material Handler I to join our HVACR distribution team. You will receive, fill, and ship products, operate forklifts and RF scanners, verify shipments, and keep precise records to support efficient warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork as you help maintain stock and prepare orders for shipment in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred or required.
• Experience with RF scanners and ERP inventory systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate safety-sensitive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, fill, and ship products accurately; ensure paperwork is complete.
• Operate power equipment safely to locate and move goods.
• Inspect shipments, verify quantities, and complete paperwork for discrepancies.
• Label, scan, and manage stock to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare orders for shipment and assist with cycle counts and safety compliance.
