Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, is seeking a Material Handler I to receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate forklifts, RF scanners, and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and safety in daily tasks.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and basic math, with opportunities for growth in a multi-branch network and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year related experience.
• Ability to read, count, and perform basic math; follow instructions.
• English proficiency required for safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (electric pallet, forklift) safely to move and store products.
• Receive products by forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Inspect shipments for damage and accuracy; document discrepancies.
• Ensure barcode labels and stock numbers are correct and legible.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders; stack for transport with care.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and paperwork; participate in cycle counts as needed.
