Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, is hiring a COS Material Handler I in Boynton Beach, FL. The role involves receiving, filling, and shipping products, operating forklifts, and maintaining accurate paperwork to support timely orders.

Responsibilities include loading, stocking, labeling, and inventory cycle counts, while adhering to safety rules and company procedures. A forklift certification is required or obtainable on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Receives, fills, and ships products accurately; ensures paperwork is complete.
• Operates power equipment safely to locate, store, and move products daily.
• Inspects shipments for damage and verifies quantities against packing lists.
• Ensures barcodes and stock numbers are readable and correctly labeled.
• Picks, packs, and ships orders; logs items with scan gun.
• Documents hazardous materials shipments and ensures accuracy of paperwork.
• Maintains safety and follows SOPs; participates in cycle counts as assigned.
• Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers.
