Job summary

Homans Associates in Wilmington is seeking a Jr Territory Manager to grow our HVAC contractor base. This outside sales role is customer-facing and includes cold calling, relationship building, and expanding new accounts in the assigned territory.

You will complete the training program, travel within the territory to meet customers, manage leads in the CRM, and support orders with a service mindset. Schedule: Monday-Friday. Salary: $40K–$50K annually.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience or aptitude is needed for growth in contractor accounts.
• Ability to cold call HVAC contractors and introduce products/services.
• Focus on building and maintaining relationships to grow new accounts in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Jr Territory Manager training program.
• Cold call and prospect HVAC contractors to introduce products and services.
• Build and maintain a target account list.
• Travel the assigned territory to meet customers in person.
• Engage customers with confident conversations, assess needs, and earn trust.
• Support sales conversations with product/service recommendations.
• Quote and help process orders/contracts with coaching as needed.
• Track leads and opportunities in the CRM/database with notes and follow-up dates.
• Follow up with prospects to convert to active customers.
• Address customer questions and escalate issues as needed.
• Participate in trade shows and local events to grow visibility and lead flow.
