Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Florida market (Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa or South Florida). This hybrid/field-based role focuses on new business development in commercial HVAC, managing territory execution, and growing contractor relationships.

You will own end-to-end territory growth, collaborate with internal teams, and travel within the region to build a robust pipeline and close profitable deals.

Qualifications

• Experience outside sales in HVAC distribution or related technical sales.
• Proven ability to develop and grow a sales territory, including new accounts.
• Experience selling to mechanical contractors and HVAC customers.
• Strong communication, relationship-management and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Established relationships within local HVAC contractor community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory plan and sales strategy to meet objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors and HVAC customers.
• Identify commercial projects and conversion opportunities for profitable growth.
• Own the customer journey from prospecting to long-term account development.
• Maintain regular face-to-face visits and solid territory coverage.
• Coordinate with inside sales, product specialists, and operations to close deals.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and provide visibility into pipeline and activity.
• Monitor market conditions and share intelligence with sales leadership.
• Participate in meetings and industry events to drive growth.
