Job summary

Htprof is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow commercial HVAC in Florida. This outside sales role emphasizes new business development, contractor relationships, and account growth, with a home office base and travel within a Florida territory.

You will develop territory plans, manage pipelines, and partner with inside sales and technical resources to drive profitable growth while maintaining pricing discipline. A strong HVAC distribution background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience within HVAC distribution or a closely related technical sales environment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, applications, and related products.
• Demonstrated success managing and developing an assigned sales territory, including new customer acquisition.
• Experience selling to mechanical contractors and other commercial HVAC customers.
• Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities, build relationships, and close profitable business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned territory in accordance with sales direction and strategy.
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan with account priorities and growth objectives.
• Prospect for, establish, and develop relationships with mechanical contractors and HVAC customers.
• Own customer relationships from initial prospecting through account development and growth.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits and maintain territory coverage.
• Coordinate with inside sales, technical resources, and operations to close business.
• Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and provide visibility into opportunities.
