Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, and related systems to ensure safe, reliable homes.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, residency-quality customer service, and adherence to safety policies. A valid driver’s license, own tools, and willingness to be on-call are essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or equivalent required; EPA certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance
• Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components
• Diagnose advanced issues and replace defective equipment
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and laws
• Provide timely, professional service and maintain positive resident interactions
