Johnstone Supply LLC is a leading HVACR wholesale distributor seeking a role that supports technical sales, training, and customer service initiatives. The position emphasizes developing training programs, on-site support, and collaboration with branch and account teams to close sales with major dealers.

The role also focuses on reducing warranty issues, expanding NATE testing capabilities, and maintaining strong vendor relationships across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; BA/AA in related field preferred.
• 5+ years HVAC field service experience.
• Travel up to 50% locally, state, and regional as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to coordinate high activity and make business decisions using analytical and creative approaches.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop guidelines and tools to meet growing demand for technical sales and provide troubleshooting support.
• Create an on-site NATE training program for customers and employees to understand HVAC fundamentals and installation guidelines.
• Assist Branch and Account Managers in closing sales opportunities with larger dealers; provide technical training for customers.
• Develop structure for warranty processes and unit exchanges to reduce warranty transactions.
• Track warranty failure rates, training events, and attendees to improve service levels.
• Assist branches in becoming leading NATE testing centers in the U.S.
• Assist Purchasing and Marketing with product mix and related items to increase sales.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendor partners and key customers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technical developments affecting target markets.
• Participate in Marketing and Sales meetings with data and strategies.
• Maintain a consistent company image at training and sales events/presentations.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth operations and high levels of support.
