Johnstone Supply is a leading HVACR equipment and supplies distributor seeking a customer-focused CSR I to provide prompt service, quotes, and order processing for contractors and key accounts. You will learn HVAC product lines on the job and support account managers with bids and quotes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, multitasking, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment, with training opportunities and company benefits. On-site position with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak effectively with customers.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R equipment and products; CSR I learns product lines in 24–36 months.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to complete basic math applications.
• Analytical abilities for product/equipment research.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Work well with minimal supervision under pressure.
• RF Scanner knowledge and experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the telephone in a prompt, professional and helpful manner.
• Provide prompt, courteous service by listening to customer needs and requests and respond accordingly.
• Handle warranty claims and credit returns with proper documentation and SOP compliance.
• Enter sales orders into the Sales Order Entry System and process payments per SOPs.
• Answer calls and provide quotes or take orders, research products/services and answer questions.
• Calculate refrigeration load requirements for quotes and bids.
• Identify damaged inventory and inform the Store Manager for markdown/quick sale.
• Assist Account Managers with key customers' needs, bids or quotes.
• Attend training seminars to gain product knowledge for informed service.
• Promote monthly flyers and promotions to customers to boost counter sales.
• Alert supervisor when showroom sales are brisk to adjust staffing.
• Perform other duties to maintain high levels of service.
