Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies, seeks a technically skilled sales professional in Jacksonville, FL. You will develop training programs, provide field support, and drive sales through educated customers and strong vendor partnerships.

The role requires 5+ years HVAC field service, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required; BA/AA in related field preferred.
• 5+ years HVAC field service experience.
• Travel up to 50% locally, state, and region as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to coordinate high activity levels under varying conditions.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop guidelines and tools to meet growing demand for technical sales and provide customer/employee support.
• Create an on-site field support program for troubleshooting without direct product modification or repair.
• Develop NATE training program; implement technical training for customers and staff.
• Assist Branch and Account Managers in closing sales opportunities with larger dealers; provide technical training as part of in-house service to capture sales.
• Develop structure for warranty process and exchanges to reduce warranty transactions and labor hours.
• Track warranty failure rates, service schools conducted, and attendees trained; report regularly.
• Support branches in becoming leading NATE testing centers in the U.S.
• Assist Purchasing and Marketing with product mix, superseded products, add-ons to increase sales.
• Build relationships with vendor partners and key customers; stay updated on industry trends.
• Participate in Marketing and Sales meetings, sharing customer/product data and strategies.
• Maintain a consistent company image across training and sales events.
• Perform other duties as assigned for smooth operations.
